Version 11.7 of AdWords Editor also includes additional support for Gmail and YouTube ads.
The new version of AdWords Editor includes support for several features, including bulk creation of responsive ads from text ads.
Responsive ads run on the Google Display Network, including in native ad inventory on mobile. They dynamically adjust to fit available ad space. You can now export existing standard text ads or expanded text ads to a spreadsheet and fill out some missing fields, including the business name and image links, to convert them to responsive ads. Just choose “Export as” and select “Export as responsive ads.” Then upload the updated file back into Editor.
You can also now add square images to responsive ads in Editor.
Other updates in AdWords Editor 11.7 include:
- support for creating and editing multi-product Gmail ads
- ability to add six-second bumper ads to ad groups for YouTube campaigns and edit existing bumper ads ads in the Settings panel
- ability to manage locations extensions, including creating, editing and removing extensions from accounts that have Google My Business linked
- video campaign frequency options for “per ad group” and “per ad” now available, in addition to “per campaign.”
