Bing has updated its search results to deliver what it calls “Fact Answers” for local reviews and addresses.
Listed at the top of a results page, Bing’s “Fact Answers” provide direct information to search queries for local information and addresses.
Bing said users will get quick answers, with searches like, “Distance to 1511 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101” delivering route options, travel times, and “turn by turn” detailed directions.
According to Bing, the new directions feature is only available in the U.S., UK and France.
Also, the reviews and addresses are only available with desktop searches – which doesn’t sound too helpful if you’re already out, and only have your phone to search for a location. No dates were given on when the directions feature would roll out to mobile.
